Background and design

These pages explain the ideas behind Asymmetry rather than the mechanics of any
one feature: a short primer on muon-spin spectroscopy, the conventions and
implementation choices the program makes, how Asymmetry relates to the
established μSR analysis tools, and a glossary of the terms used throughout the
